DIGI GAMES ARE GREAT!!

There are so many different ways to learn new vocabulary!... We can sing or chant, tell stories, read, write and, of course, play games. One of our favourite ways is playing on our digital boards... the board tells us the word and we have to clic the correct picture. We love it!!

I AM THE MUSIC MAN BY THIRD GRADE

LEARNING ABOUT THE FAMILY IN YEAR 1

In year 1 we have been learning the names of different members of the family. We learnt a great song about the finger family and heard and actted out the story of The Enormous Carrot! It was good fun! Here are two videos that we have seen in class:

SEA ANIMALS IN GRADE 2

Just before Christmas we had a great time in second grade learning lots of fun things about marine animals... they are such strange creatures...  we watched videos, learned the names and different information about some of them, manipulated small rubber toys and made a great big mural of the sea! Now we know a lot more about these animals!

Games time in 3rd grade

In third grade we have English clas three days a week. On one of those days, Wednesday, our class is a little different... we work in three different groups and play games or work on the computer. This is a great and fun way to learn new English vocabulary as well as improving our computer skills ... and the best thing of all is that we have a great time!!
