ENGLISH THEATRE TO CELEBRATE SAINT GEORGE'S DAY - LABYRINTH

Did you know that Saint George is the patron saint of England? So, it is a big day for us to celebrate in our English class. This year, once again, we decided to bring in the Face2Face theatre company as we thoroughly enjoyed their plays last year.

The first play was LABYRINTH for the boys and girls from fourth to sixth grade: Elsa is an explorer. Armed only with her map and a compass, she travels the world in search of adventure. Her latest mission is in China, searching for the lost treasure of the last Chinese Emperor. But when Elsa arrives at the Emperor's tomb, danger awaits...

Running dictation - Year 3

Last week our year 3 students did a special activity in the playground: running dictation. At this level, we work on vocabulary we have seen during the course year and remember the spelling.

On this occasion the class was split into two teams, each team had a secretary who was in charge of writing down the words. Working as a relay race, students ran to the word poster, read the word and returned to dictate it to their secretary.

The children had so much fun we didn't have time to take any photos!!

Playground games with Year 1

When the sun comes out the playground offers us a great opportunity to do different activities and learn English in a fun way. Last week, year 1 went outside to play some fun games and work on our English vocabulary. The boys and girls had a great time and, despite being only mid April we had to sit in the shade as it was a very hot day!! Here are some photos of the activity:
