Last week we were able to play in the playground because the weather was great! This week we haven't been as lucky, but we still managed to have a great time playing games, practising new vocabulary and revising vocabulary we already knew!

Playground games with Year 1
When the sun comes out the playground offers us a great opportunity to do different activities and learn English in a fun way. Last week, year 1 went outside to play some fun games and work on our English vocabulary. The boys and girls had a great time and, despite being only mid April we had to sit in the shade as it was a very hot day!! Here are some photos of the activity:

DIGI GAMES ARE GREAT!!
There are so many different ways to learn new vocabulary!... We can sing or chant, tell stories, read, write and, of course, play games. One of our favourite ways is playing on our digital boards... the board tells us the word and we have to clic the correct picture. We love it!!

LEARNING ABOUT THE FAMILY IN YEAR 1

SEA ANIMALS IN GRADE 2
Just before Christmas we had a great time in second grade learning lots of fun things about marine animals... they are such strange creatures... we watched videos, learned the names and different information about some of them, manipulated small rubber toys and made a great big mural of the sea! Now we know a lot more about these animals!
