OUR BODY ... FIRST GRADERS

In first grade we are currently working on parts of the body and things we can do with our bodies (running, jumping, dancing...)

One of the songs we like to sing and dance to is this one Head and shoulders, knees and toes! We love it because it means we do a bit of exercise!!

Routines

One of the most important parts of our English class is the beginning where we talk about the date and the weather. It's a great opportunity to practise counting (at least up to 31!) and we get to dance the macarena with the names of the months!! It's great fun!

One of the songs we use in class is the days of the week by Matt's Dream English on youtube. We love dancing to it! You can watch it here:

Sixth year sports videos

Our sixth years have been studying sports and related vocabulary. They got together in small groups to write and act out a sports dialogue. You can see the results in the video...fantastic!!!

Playground games

Our playground has recently undergone a fabulous transformation thanks to our wonderful families who have spent several days making it into a more attractive, fun place.

To celebrate this event, students from year five have developed dialogues and acted them out in the playground to show off some of the new areas.

We hope you enjoy the video!!
