In grade 6, we've just discovered an artist called Bridget Riley. She's been painting for many years but her paintings are special because they form part of the OP ART movement. OP ART deals with optical illusions, which means that we have to work hard with our eyes to see things that are not really there, or that are there but hidden away!
We had great fun discovering this type of art... and now, we're creating our own work! You'll soon be able to see it here... keep your EYES open for our very own Montaura OP ART!!!

Students have been collecting information about themselves and creating their very own soource of information.
We'll let you see the finished results soon!

The boys and girls of year 3 are almost ready to present their own fashion show with the clothes vocabulary they have been learning these past weeks.
On Wednesday, we practised by walking around the class and getting someone to describe the clothes we were wearing on that day. It was a bit embarassing, but good fun!!
